InnovateHerLMS is a space for girls to learn, build and grow in confidence. Everyone on the platform agrees to keep it kind, safe and encouraging.
What is a 'Code of Conduct'
A code of conduct is a way of behaving in a specific community of people. It’s basically a set of “rules” which are full of respect and kindness.
What does it mean to be part of InnovateHer?
Being part of InnovateHer means joining a learning experience designed to help you explore new interests, build your confidence, and develop valuable skills for the future.
We want InnovateHer to be a safe, welcoming, and positive space where everyone feels supported to learn and grow. As an InnovateHer learner, we ask that you use the platform responsibly, engage positively with your learning activities, respect yourself and others, and approach new challenges with curiosity, kindness, and an open mind.
You protect your personal information!
Be careful about the personal information you share online. When completing activities or written reflections, avoid including private details such as your home address, phone number, passwords or other sensitive information about yourself or someone else. If you're unsure whether something is safe to share, ask your teacher or another trusted adult.
Keep your account safe.
Your InnovateHer account belongs to you. Keep your password private, don't share your login details with other students, and don't use someone else's account.

You are honest about your learning.
Your learning journey is your own. When completing quizzes, challenges and activities, try your best and submit your own answers. Ensure you're actively participating and developing your own understanding.
You take ownership of your learning.
InnovateHer is a place to explore, discover and build new skills. When completing lessons, quizzes and activities, give them your best effort and try to understand what you're learning. It's okay to make mistakes, ask questions and try again. That's how learning happens!
You are respectful of others, and will not use words that are offensive.
InnovateHer is a learning space where everyone is welcome.
Whether you're learning independently or using the platform in a classroom, treat others with kindness and respect. Everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, regardless of their background, identity or ability. Bullying, discrimination or behaviour that makes others feel unsafe is not acceptable.
You ask for help when you need it.
If something you see or experience while learning makes you feel uncomfortable, worried or unsafe, speak to your teacher or another trusted adult.
You can also ask for help if you're having trouble accessing your lessons or using the platform. You don't have to figure everything out on your own.
